IMPACT OF INJURY AND CANCER SURVIVOR

Head coach Will Broderick has selected the squad. His squad is missing a few players, as the original squad included 18 players. Among those missing is Rafaela Zanellato, who was unable to recover from her injury in time. The squad is the same one that has been training together for a long period of time. It has been reduced in size, but there are no new names.

Brazilian player icon Raquel Kochhann is back and full of energy. Kochhann has beaten cancer. Captain Luiza Campos is back for As Yara's for the sport's biggest event. After competing in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 and Tokyo in 2021, Campos will now compete in Paris in 2024, alongside Kochhann.
