NRL 2024, Match Preview Round 18, Wests Tigers vs Melbourne Storm

The Melbourne Storm will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the NRL table when they travel to Sydney to take on the Wests Tigers.

With a 16-6 victory over the Canberra Raiders last Saturday night, Craig Bellamy's side recorded their fourth win in a row.

Although happy with the result, the Storm are determined to put in a more focused attacking performance after struggling to convert numerous chances last weekend.

That could spell trouble for the Wests Tigers, who conceded 40 points in a round 17 loss to the Sydney Roosters.

The defeat ended a two-game winning streak and the team fell to last place in the table.

Benji Marshall's side have the advantage of returning home this weekend and will look to maintain their flawless record at Leichhardt Oval this season.

Melbourne are expected to benefit from the return of Queensland Origin star Harry Grant, but will be without his Maroons teammate Xavier Coates after he sustained a hamstring injury in the win over the Raiders.
