Ruth Lindsey Golf Outing Raises $15,000 for Hospice Services

The Hospice of North Central Ohio (HNCO) 31st Annual Ruth Lindsey Charity Golf Outing raised over $15,000 to support end-of-life care on June 24 at Westbrook Country Club.

More than 90 golfers registered for the event sponsored by Mechanics Bank. The winning team was Ashtonne Packaging.

“We are grateful for the generous support we continue to receive from the region's business and industry,” said Ralph Tomassi, HNCO's Chief Development Officer. “A special thank you goes out to the golfers who come each year and our many sponsors who help make this outing profitable in many ways.”

Hospice of North Central Ohio has provided end-of-life and palliative care, as well as bereavement programs and services to thousands of families since 1988. HNCO's headquarters are located at 1021 Dauch Drive, Ashland. Hospice of North Central Ohio cares for more than 200 patients daily in Ashland, Crawford, Huron, Knox, Morrow and Richland counties.

In addition, free bereavement support services are provided to hundreds of families of hospice patients and to all grieving people in the community. HNCO operates the What Goes' Round Thrift Shoppe in downtown Mansfield.
