The college football media is excited about Dakorien Moore's signing with the Oregon Ducks

Dakorien Moore's commitment to the Oregon Ducks garnered more than a little attention on Thursday night. It's safe to say the college football world is abuzz with reaction as the country's top wide receiver prospect chose the Oregon Ducks over other top teams like the Ohio State Buckeyes, Texas Longhorns and LSU Tigers.

It was a pretty big deal. Not only for Dan Lanning and the Oregon football recruiting class of 2025, but also for the college football recruiting landscape in general.

As the Oregon football program moves up to the Big Ten and Lanning continues to elevate the Oregon Ducks' capabilities to new levels, college football media across the country took notice of this significant recruiting achievement for Lanning and his team.

Here's what college football media outlets (and some heavily followed fans) had to say about Moore's commitment to join the Oregon football team's 2025 recruiting class:

This is a monumental win for the Ducks, beating traditional bluebloods like the Tigers, Longhorns and Buckeyes. Oregon may have been a nationally ranked team for some time, but these are teams that win national titles. This type of recruiting can really propel the Oregon football team forward in the future.

And yes, let's get a little patriotic and celebrate with fireworks. This is a big deal for the Ducks and one that they (and Moore) should definitely enjoy.

Dan Lanning has been on a roll recruiting-wise lately, and Moore leaving the Lone Star State for the West Coast (along with all the other high-profile signings of late) is pretty significant.

There's still a long way to go before the deal is finalized, but Lanning is on the up and up right now. If he can continue to build a breakout recruiting class (and put together an exciting season to boot), the future will look increasingly bright for the folks at Autzen Stadium.
