Renegade Music – Campaign Manager (UK)


We are currently looking for a dynamic new individual to join our London team. This role is ideal for an individual with 1-2 years experience working at a record label, music promotion company, marketing agency or similar, although we are open to any candidate with the required skills for the role.

We are the UK's market leading combined retail, student and club promotion company, working primarily in the leisure, hospitality and retail sectors. The company will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2024. With an unrivalled reputation across the music industry, Renegade is the go-to company for all major labels and key indie labels when it comes to promoting new releases.

The company works with new and established artists across a wide range of genres. We are typically involved in the promotion of around 50% of UK top 40 singles and have a roster of some of the most exciting talent in the world. The company's other business interests include artist management, branded music policy advice and music branding partnerships. We are also in the process of opening a brand new boutique recording studio in Oxfordshire.

  • Identifying and promoting relevant new releases and gaining new business opportunities for the company through existing and new contacts from across the music industry
  • Managing promotional campaigns from start to finish for a range of pop/dance, indie/rock and rap artists
  • Advising clients on advertising strategies and identifying goals in all our areas
  • Regular reporting to our clients on the progress of their campaigns
  • Work with record labels and extended artist teams to design and organize promotional activities.
  • Proactively organize interviews, reviews and other activities with student media
  • Maintain close relationships with all clients, including record labels, managers and independent artists
  • Collaborating with record labels to collect assets for advertising campaigns
  • Providing new music to our extensive contact database via our online music distribution platform InFlyte
  • Promote releases to retail/brand music programmers, DJs, student media contacts and other tastemakers
  • Attending concerts, events and industry conferences in the UK and internationally.

  • Live, breathe and work music and have a strong knowledge of multiple genres, particularly pop/dance, indie/rock and rap.
  • Have already built up a strong network of contacts throughout the music industry
  • You are very well organized in all areas of your work and have a keen eye for detail
  • Be confident and competent when meeting with customers and contacts
  • You have a positive attitude and a burning desire to advance your own career and help us take our business to the next level.
  • You have a genuine interest in the areas we cover, as well as the ability to learn quickly and work towards monthly goals.
  • You are friendly and adaptable and have excellent communication skills and the ability to fit into our small, sociable team
  • Good knowledge of software packages (we use Microsoft Office and Google Drive) and extensive knowledge of social media
  • Experience with Adobe, Squarespace and other relevant software is also an advantage

Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience and skills. Performance and seasonal bonuses may be awarded at discretion.

General working hours are Monday to Friday from 9.30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
