Elden Ring fans have a new update

Elden Ring Fans will need to update their game as FromSoftware has made some big changes that some of you may not like.

While the fans are not enthusiastic Elden Ring: Shadow of the Earth Tree Nor has it had any impact on player count, although a recent update may upset some people.

Read our thoughts on Elden Ring: Shadow of the Earth Tree below.

Many have said, Elden Ring DLC is too difficult even by FromSoftware standards and we enlisted the help of several powerful character builds to even stand a chance against some of the bosses.

You may have seen the Lightning Perfume builds being passed around that absolutely destroy bosses' health bars with minimal effort, but if you've run this build recently, I have bad news.

With FromSoftware's latest patch, which includes a number of balancing acts, bug fixes, and performance adjustments, the Perfume build's damage has been significantly toned down. See, that's why we can't have nice things.

Apparently, the damage that could be caused by Ash Of War's Perfume Bottles and Rolling Sparks was more than the developers intended and was therefore reduced to a more reasonable level.

The update also improved some Karian sorcery, increased the range of certain thrown weapons, and changed some aspects of the arena for the Golden Hippopotamus and Commander Gaius boss fights. Thank goodness for the latter, as these are arguably the worst fights in the DLC.

Cross-platform performance issues have also been addressed, as it was said that PC users had been experiencing some issues with the game since one of the previous DLC patches, so hopefully everything will run more smoothly now.

The Elden Ring: Shadow of the Earth Tree The expansion can be difficult, but it is still worth playing and if you are a fan of the base game, you shouldn't miss it.
