  • A leaked promotional image shows the Nord 4's striking two-tone back, reminiscent of Google's Pixel 1, 2, and 3 series.
  • The phone may feature a square design with flat edges, a dual camera setup, and the typical OnePlus alert slider on the left side.

After a string of successful product launches, OnePlus is ramping up the excitement for its next big unveiling. The company has already confirmed that it will host a “Summer Launch Event” in Milan on July 16, and while it is keeping the details under wraps, chatter online points to the debut of a new OnePlus phone, likely the OnePlus Nord 4. A leaked promo image further fuels the speculation, showing off the phone’s striking two-tone rear panel.

OnePlus Club recently posted on X (formerly Twitter) what appears to be a promotional poster for the OnePlus Nord 4 (via 91mobiles). The phone's two-tone back panel is reminiscent of the design of the Google Pixel 1, 2, and 3 phones.

This is in line with a previous leak by Yogesh Brar, who shared a real-world image of the phone on the same platform. Interestingly, both leaks are quite different from the OnePlus Ace 3V, which was originally intended to be a rebranded Nord 4 for the global market.

Eye-catching color blocking

The leaked promotional materials show the OnePlus Nord 4 in three colors. One variant features a green top around the camera. Another has a sleek gray top with a patterned bottom section. All models feature a glossy finish on the rectangular camera module, while the black and green versions add a touch of elegance with a brushed metal finish under the top section.

Breaking the curved trend, the Nord 4 sports a squared-off design and flat edges, while the back features a dual camera. OnePlus' signature alert slider is also thoughtfully placed on the left side. On the front, the flat display, framed by ultra-thin bezels and punctuated by a subtle punch-hole cutout, promises an impressive visual experience. All of this seems to be encased in a metal frame that promises both durability and a premium feel.

Which OnePlus phones are worth buying?

Previous leaks suggest that the Nord 4 will have a 6.74-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will reportedly be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 chipset. For cameras, it could have a 50MP LYT-600 (or IMX882) main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 16MP selfie camera. It is also said to have a 5,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.

OnePlus recently sent out physical invitations for the July 16 event, mentioning some of the qualities of the upcoming release, such as “strength, sophistication and durable quality of the metal.” This intriguing news hints at the key features of the OnePlus Nord 4 and makes it particularly attractive given its expected mid-range status.
