NRL 2024, Canterbury Bulldogs, New Zealand Warriors, Round 18 preview, official team lists, injuries, updates

The Bulldogs' stunning resurgence in 2024 continued in a nail-biting game against the Sharks and they get the chance to eliminate another of last year's finalists when they host the Warriors in Round 18.

Cameon Ciraldo's men already have one more win than they had in the whole of 2023. They are building their season on a new-found determination in defense and only the Panthers have conceded fewer points in 17 rounds.

That willingness to fight for everything will surely be tested by a dangerous Warriors side who found their rhythm and converted six tries in a 32-16 win over the Broncos.

With Te Maire Martin and Chanel Harris-Tavita leading the way in style, the Warriors have finally put their embarrassing 60-point loss to the Titans behind them, although they are still three points behind the eighth-place finish with eight games remaining.

The Warriors won both meetings between the teams last year, but the Bulldogs are a different story in 2024, having won their last six games at Accor Stadium.
