What happened to Kris Jenner?

In episode 7 of season 5, Kris tearfully told her children that her doctor had found a tumor.

“I wanted to tell you something. I went to the doctor and had a check-up,” she said before tears started to form. “They found a cyst and a small tumor on my ovary and it's making me really emotional.”

The discovery was difficult for the reality TV personality, as she noted that her health changes are part of aging. “It's a whole chapter that's just closed,” she said.

Does Kris Jenner have cancer?

In conversation with her daughters Kim, Khloe And Kendall During the episode, Kris explained that she needed to have her ovaries “removed.”

“Dr. A said I had to have my ovaries removed, and that makes me very sad because they were useful for you,” Kris said. “That's where all my children were conceived and that's where they grew up, in my womb. So that's a very sacred place for me.”

After Khloé called Kourtney To share the news, the Lemme founder reflected on the emotional revelation.

“I completely understand how my mom feels because I would feel the same way,” Kourtney explained. “It's about your feminine power and that doesn't mean it takes away who she is or what she's experienced, but I would feel that sentimental feeling of what it created.”

Kris did not disclose whether or not the tumor discovery meant a cancer diagnosis. But the mom insisted she's “going to be OK,” adding, “Look, if I can get through hip surgery, I can get through this. I'm not nervous when I'm put under anesthesia. I'm not nervous with Dr. A, she's the best doctor in the world. But then you do it and… it's so real.”

“People often ask me what the best job I’ve ever had is, and I always say: Mom,” the Keeping up with the Kardashians Alum said, “The greatest blessing in my life was being able to give birth to six wonderful children.”

Kris had previously suffered health setbacks

Kris had previously announced that she had to undergo hip surgery in season 2. The KardashiansDuring the 2022 season, viewers learned that she was experiencing “excruciating” pain in her hip and decided to undergo the surgery. After that, the reality TV star apparently adapted quickly.
