EP and Bulls share the spoils in the final of the U16 Girls Week

WP proved too strong for Free State, scoring 14 tries in a convincing 88-0 win, with winger Tamryn Booysen scoring a hat-trick to help the Cape side finish the tournament unbeaten.

Boland also picked up their second win of the week as they beat SWD 13-0. The Sharks put in a dominant performance in the second half and defeated the Pumas 22-12.

The last game at Jeppe A Field was a close contest, with the Bulls leading 7-5 at halftime.

Bulls connector Jordine Jonkers scored a penalty goal, while EP scored another missed try in the second period and the game eventually ended in a 10-10 stalemate.

A third day has now been added to the U18 Girls Week. This will take place on Friday at Jeppe High School. The first round of matches will start at 8:00 a.m. EP will face the Golden Lions in the final at 2:00 p.m. on the A field, while the match between WP and Border will kick off at the same time on the B field.
