Kendrick Lamar's family appears in the music video for “Not Like Us”

Kendrick Lamar is unwavering in his statements and willing to back them up with evidence. In the legendary exchange he had with Drake earlier this year – an exchange that was nearly 11 years in the making – Lamar was accused of living far from his family in New York. Drake also accused one of Lamar's children of belonging to Dave Free, Lamar's longtime business partner. He also accused Lamar of mistreating his longtime fiancée, Whitney Alford.

Lamar responded to the allegations in his response tracks, accusing Drake of hiding another child – an 11-year-old daughter, to be exact. Lamar claims Drake inherited his tendency to put himself above his children from his father, Dennis Graham, who Drake previously rapped about not always being the most present father during his childhood.

To back up the claim that there are no problems in Lamar's personal life, Alford and her children attended Lamar's “Ken & Friends Popout” concert in Inglewood, California, on June 19, which Free also helped organize. Now, in Lamar's final diss track of the back-and-forth, “Not Like Us,” it seems his family will make a cameo appearance in the music video as well.

Clips of Lamar shooting the music video in Compton, California also went viral, with possible cameos from Thundercat, YG, Roddy Ricch, Jay Rock, ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Top Dawg and DJ Mustard.

There is no release date for the video yet, but it is expected to be “coming soon.”
