Indian cricket team’s open bus parade live streaming: When and where to watch the T20 World Champions’ roadshow?

The Indian national cricket team led by Rohit Sharma has landed in New Delhi after winning the 2024 T20 World Cup in the USA and the Caribbean Islands. The team was stranded in Barbados for two days because Hurricane Beryl forced the airport to close.

On Wednesday morning, after the airport finally opened, the Indian team along with support staff and media personnel left the island in a special aircraft organised by the BCCI, flying non-stop for 16 hours and landing at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in the capital early Thursday morning.

The team has a busy schedule for Thursday. The members have already arrived at the ITC Maurya Hotel and after checking in, they will soon leave for the Prime Minister's residence to meet Narendra Modi.

According to reports, they will meet Prime Minister Modi in two groups – players followed by support staff – starting at 9:30 am IST. After the function at the Prime Minister's residence, the team will leave for Mumbai in the afternoon and is expected to arrive there by 4 pm IST.

They will reach the Wankhede Stadium and attend a function organised by the BCCI where the team will be presented with a prize money of Rs 125 crore.

They will then take part in a Victory Parade in open-top buses from 5pm IST. The roadshow is expected to last for two hours.

How to watch Open Bus Parade live streaming in India?

The Victory Parade will begin from the Air India building at Nariman Point and end at Wankhede Stadium. It will be watched live on Sports18 network from 4:30 pm IST and streamed live on JioCinema.

India defeated South Africa in the final last Saturday to end their wait for their first ICC Trophy since 2013. The Rohit Sharma-led side became the first in history to win the competition undefeated.

Overall, it is India's second T20 World Cup title after the country won the inaugural tournament in 2007 under the leadership of MS Dhoni.
