It is expected to be another busy offseason for the Arkansas baseball team.

The Razorbacks will have to replace several departing players with players from other programs and it would not be a surprise if Arkansas lost several players.

We will update this page throughout the offseason to keep you informed of the latest Razorbacks personnel changes.

New players in Arkansas to play in 2025

• KUHIO ALOY, DH/INF

Previous school: BYU

Bats/Throws: R/R

2025 Classification: Second year student

Hometown: Wailuku, Hawaii

Kuhio Aloy, the younger brother of Arkansas shortstop Wehiwa, was named to the Freshman All-Big 12 team after posting a .269 batting average with nine doubles, one triple, eight home runs and a team-high 38 RBIs. He tied for the Big 12 leader with seven sacrifice flies. Aloy, 6-1, started 46 games as the Cougars' designated hitter and four games as first baseman.

• MICHAEL ANDERSON, INF

Previous school: Rhode Island

Bats/Throws: R/R

2025 Classification: Junior

Hometown: Haverton, Pa.

Anderson, 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds, was the Rams' primary first baseman. He led Rhode Island with 41 RBI and broke the NCAA Division I record with 12 RBI during a March 20 game against Stonehill (Mass.) College. As a sophomore, he batted .252 with 13 home runs and nine doubles, and as a freshman, he batted .316 with 18 doubles, 10 home runs and 43 RBI in 52 games.

• LANDON BEIDELSCHIES, LHP

Previous school: Ohio State

2025 Classification: Junior

Hometown: Canfield, Ohio

The 6-3, 225-pound Beidelschies was 6-7 with a 4.15 ERA and a 1.20 WHIP in 15 starts for the Buckeyes in 84 2/3 innings in 2019. He struck out 91 and walked 31, and opposing hitters batted .231 against him. On3.com rated Beidelschies as the fifth-best available player in the transfer portal at the time of his signing. He has a strong arm and a fastball that has been measured at 98 mph.

• CARSON BOLES, OF

Previous school: Lincoln Memorial (Tenn.) University

Bats/Throws: R/R

2025 Classification: Senior

Hometown: Lebanon, Tennessee.

Boles is a corner outfielder who had a .475 batting average with 24 doubles, 1 triple, 15 home runs, 68 runs and 68 RBI in 50 games as a junior. He was named All-America in Division II and was the South Atlantic Conference Player of the Year. His batting average and doubles total ranked third in his division and he set program records for doubles and RBI in a single season.

• CHARLES DAVALAN, OF/INF

Previous school: Florida Gulf Coast

2025 Classification: Second year student

Hometown: Montreal, Quebec, Canada

A member of the All-Atlantic Sun Conference Freshman Team, the 5-foot-10 Davalan batted .288 with 16 doubles, two triples, 10 home runs and 37 RBI as a first-base hitter. He was successful on 13 of 18 attempts to steal a base. He started 30 games at second base and 26 games in right field. He appears to be scoring professionally as an outfielder and will be eligible for the draft after his sophomore year. He is playing for the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod League this summer.

• CARSON HANSEN, OF

Previous school: Wisconsin-Milwaukee

Bats/Throws: L/L

2025 Classification: Junior

Hometown: Pewaukee, Wis.

Hansen, 6-foot-2 and 220 pounds, hit .315 with 25 doubles, 11 home runs and 63 RBIs as a sophomore All-Horizon League player. He had a .404 on-base percentage and a .601 slugging percentage with a 1.005 OPS. He was successful on 7 of 8 stolen base attempts. His 25 doubles were fourth-best by a player before the NCAA postseason. He started 43 games in right field. He is playing for the Green Bay Rockers in the Northwoods League this summer.

• BRENT IREDALE, INF

Previous school: New Mexico Junior College

Bats/Throws: R/R

2025 Classification: Junior

Hometown: Sydney, Australia

Iredale is ranked as the No. 2 JUCO prospect by Prep Baseball Report and was a 2024 NJCAA All-American. He played third base and batted .441 with a 1.576 OPS in 58 games. Iredale hit 25 home runs, hit 22 doubles and 4 triples, scored 94 runs and had 78 RBIs. He is eligible for the MLB Draft and is ranked as the No. 453 prospect by Baseball America.

• LUIS MONROE, RHP

Previous school: Oregon State

Classification 2025: Redshirt Sophomore

Hometown: Elk Grove, California.

As a freshman in 2023, Jimenez went 5-2 with a 5.68 ERA and a 1.32 WHIP. He struck out 35 and walked 7 in 38 innings, and batters had a .283 average against him. Jimenez made 21 relief appearances as a freshman and threw six shutout innings in his only career start. Jimenez was an All-Star in the Cape Cod League last summer, when he posted a 1.14 ERA and a 1.02 WHIP in 15 2/3 innings. He did not pitch for Oregon State this year after undergoing season-ending surgery, according to The Oregonian.

• MAXIMUS MARTIN, SS

Previous School: Georgia State

Bats/Throws: R/R

2025 Classification: Junior

Hometown: Edgewater Park, NJ

Martin, 6-foot-1, 195 pounds, started 12 games in center field before playing shortstop for Georgia State. As a sophomore for the Panthers in 2024, he batted .297 with 46 hits, including 12 doubles. He drew 32 walks and had an on-base percentage of .430, both of which ranked second on the team. Martin was one home run away from hitting the cycle in a 19-8 win over Southern Miss on April 13. This summer, he will play for the Willmar Stingers of the Northwoods League.

• LOGAN MAXWELL, OF

Previous school: TCU

Bats/Throws: L/L

2025 Classification: Senior

Hometown: Lima, Ohio

Maxwell earned honorable mention All-Big 12 honors as a junior when he posted a .335 batting average with 12 doubles, 2 triples and 3 home runs for the Horned Frogs. He had a .447 on-base percentage and a .427 slugging percentage for an .874 OPS, added 2 sacrifice flies and 5 sac bunts, and was successful on 10 of 12 stolen base attempts.

• ROCCO PEPPI, FROM

Previous schools: Fresno State, Long Beach State

Bats/Throws: R/R

2025 Classification: Redshirt Senior

Hometown: Huntington Beach, California.

Peppi batted .327 from the right side with 14 home runs, 16 doubles, 56 RBI and 43 runs scored in 56 games in his only year at Fresno State. He made 38 starts in left field. He earned honorable mention All-Big West honors as a redshirt freshman at Long Beach State in 2022 after leading the team with 23 multiple-hit games. He batted .278 with 6 home runs, 14 doubles and 33 RBI in 2023.

• KOLTON REYNOLDS, OF

Previous school: Crowder (Mo.) College

Bats/Throws: R/R

2025 Classification: Junior

Hometown: Huntsville, Arkansas.

Reynolds was a two-time NJCAA All-American in a program that has a long history with the Razorbacks. Reynolds batted .369 with 24 doubles, 5 triples and 10 home runs and scored 68 runs as a sophomore. As a freshman, he batted .399 with 19 home runs and 79 RBIs.

• ZACH ROOT, LHP

Previous school: East Carolina

2025 Classification: Junior

Hometown: Fort Myers, Florida.

Root is considered one of the top left-handed pitcher prospects for the 2025 MLB Draft. As a sophomore in 2024, he had a 6-2 record with a 3.56 ERA in 68 1/3 innings. Root had a 3.62 strikeout-to-walk ratio with 76 strikeouts versus 21 walks. On3.com rated Root as the No. 4 player and best pitcher available in the transfer portal at the time of his signing.

• TRENTON ROWAN, INF

Previous school: Seward County (Kan.) Community College

Bats/Throws: L/R

Classification 2025:

Hometown: Erie, Colorado.

Rowan had a batting average of .403 with 11 doubles, 1 triple, 10 home runs and 41 RBI in 35 games as a third baseman. His OPS was 1.275.

• CARSON SCHRACK, INF

Previous school: Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College

Bats/Throws: L/R

2025 Classification: Junior

Hometown: Edgerton, Kansas.

Schrack batted .348 with 2 home runs, 42 RBIs and 45 runs in 57 games as a third baseman. He was successful in 13 of 16 attempts to steal a base.

• JUSTIN THOMAS, FROM

Previous schools: Georgia, Florida SouthWestern State College

Bats/Throws: R/R

2025 Classification: Junior

Hometown: Savannah, Georgia.

Thomas began his career at Georgia and batted .193 with 1 double, 1 home run and 5 RBIs in 40 at-bats as a freshman for the Bulldogs in 2023. That year, Thomas played at Florida SouthWestern State College and batted .393 with an OPS of 1.113. He hit 14 home runs, 21 doubles and two triples, scored 86 runs and drove in 49 runs, and was successful on 35 of 42 stolen base attempts. He was an NJCAA All-American. Thomas is draft-eligible and is ranked as the No. 327 prospect by Baseball America.

TRANSFERRING ARKANSAS TO ANOTHER PROGRAM

• ADAM HACHMAN, LHP

New School: Unbound

Hachman was overlooked as a freshman this season. Perfect Game ranked him as the No. 55 overall prospect and No. 8 left-handed pitcher in the class of 2023, as well as the best Missouri player in his class.

• WILL EDMUNSON, OF

New School: Unbound

Edmunson spent one season at Arkansas after transferring from Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College. As a junior in 2024, Edmunson played in 39 games and started 22. He posted a batting average of .241/.362/.333 with 1 home run, 5 doubles and 10 RBI.

• JAYSON JONES, BY/INF

New school: Oklahoma State

Jones showed great power potential during his two years with the Razorbacks, but also a lot of misses. He has 5 doubles, 6 home runs and 41 strikeouts in 118 college at-bats. Jones practiced at third base last fall and got playing time in left field in his sophomore season, where he played in 23 games. Jones was a high-profile draft prospect coming out of high school in North Texas and was ranked as the No. 5 overall prospect for the class of 2022.

• HUNTER GRIMES, BY/INF

New School: Unbound

Grimes, who turns 25 before the 2025 season, took two redshirt years and a bonus year, which is given to players affected by the pandemic-shortened season. Grimes previously played at Texas-San Antonio and McLennan (Texas) Community College. He played in 19 games and started five times on the Razorbacks' SEC championship team in 2023, and his assist to home plate from left field was key to the win over Texas A&M that year. Grimes did not play in 2024.

• KADE SMITH, OF

New School: Unbound

Smith, a two-sport star at Harding Academy, would be ineligible to play in his freshman season in 2024.
